School Council

Following on from learning about Barack Obama, new school councillors have been elected for the 2009/10 school year. Burton Road Primary School has a democratic approach to elections. Children create manifestos to present to the rest of the class who then make their decision about who to choose. Votes are cast in the polling station in the hall and councillors are elected.
