We were very lucky to see such a varied selection of performers in today’s final of Burton Road’s Got Talent. All the children have done fantastically well, right from the class auditions last week. It is such a great opportunity to see all of the talents that the children of Burton Road have. Well done everyone!

These children received 3rd, 2nd and 1st place in the final. Well done!

As the General Election is today, the children in KS1 and KS2 have taken part in their very own election. We heard all about the different party’s manifestos, what they would implement if they were to win and why we should vote for them. Each class took it in turns to visit the Polling Station and cast their vote. The votes were counted and independently verified and we can now annouce that the winning party of the KS1 election was The Green Party with 19 votes and the winning party of the KS2 election was The Labour Party with 93 votes. The Labour Party had the overall majority. We had a great morning experiencing Election Day.

We hope you will join us in supporting Walk to School Week 2017!
