On Friday 06 July, we held our annual Sports Awards Assembly.

Bruce Dyer and Henry Kendrick were our special guests who came to make the presentations. Henry is an ex-pupil, and rising star, at Barnsley Football Club, who has just been awarded a contract with the Under 23's.

Awards were given out for: Leadership, Fair Play, Outstanding Performance and Outstanding Commitment. Congratulations to Leo Cosgrove and Emily Bowen who are Sportsman and Sportswoman of the year for 2018.

Team Awards went to Y5/6 Football, Y5/6 Cheerleading, Y4/5 Futsal and Y3/4 Multi-Skills, who were all the Barnsley Champions. Bruce Dyer also presented the footballers with the Bruce and Bobby Love Life Trophy, which they won after their victory at Oakwell.
