Nursery
This week we are learning all about the story ‘It Was a Cold, Dark Night’ by Tim Hopgood. The children have been learning all about woodland animals and what the words ‘hibernate’ and ‘nocturnal’ mean.
Our story for this week and next is ‘Sharing a Shell’ by a Julia Donaldson. We have been talking a lot about friendships this week and what it means to be a good friend! The children have been trying really hard in nursery to do their best sharing and be kind, caring friends. Well done everyone!
Exploring our outdoor provision...
Last week in nursery we were learning about the story ‘My Mummy and Daddy Make me Laugh’. We discussed how all families are special but different. The children enjoyed looking at each others pictures at carpet time and also learning all about patterns for our maths focus.
Next week in nursery we are learning all about the story ‘Guess How Much I Love You’ by Sam McBratney. We are going to be talking all about our own families and sharing pictures during circle time.
