Welcome back everyone. We hope you've had an incredible October Half Term!

Here is what we will be learning about this term-

Science- Light

History- King John and Henry VIII

DT- Sewing Christmas Cards.

It's back to school for our new Year 6's! Miss Gillespie and Mrs Wright are all looking forward to the year ahead. The hard work has already started! 

This term we will be looking at The Vikings, Drawing and Sketching Figures and Evolution and Inheritance in our History, Art and Science units!

We are currently reading 'Wonder' by R. J. Palacio and will be linking this to our literacy learning. 

5 EdShed games are to be completed weekly by the children to ensure their spelling skills are Year 6 ready! These must be completed by Thursday every week as this is when we will be testing the children on that week's spellings. Additionally, children are expected to read 5 times a week and record this in their reading record, which are to be brought in every Friday.
