Sometimes learning can be challenging but we aim to achieve and progress with our efforts being the best that we can be- putting 100% into everything that we attempt!
Together, we develop and grow into confident learners with smiles upon our faces!

We are a fantastic team and we are always proud of what we do in our learning!

If you're feeling investigative, click on the link below and it should assist with a moon calendar for Barnsley. Homework to be handed in the end of the first week of January, to see how you have got on. Please hand in via class dojos as you would usually do.

Hi Class 9, Well done for such a great first few days back last week. You certainly impressed me!

I hope you have had a wonderful weekend and are nice and refreshed ready for another busy week in school. Now that you're more familiar with our routines, you should be feeling more confident for what to do. Now you know to come straight into school for 8.40am and wash/sanitise your hands with our 'Squirty Berty'. For Class 9 school finishes at 3.10pm.

Our PE days are Mondays and Wednesdays so don't forget to bring in your kit on Monday and leave in school for the week.

This week you shall be taking home your spelling & reading journals as well as your numeracy and literacy/SPaG homework books. Homework can be printed off in school if you wish, but I shall ensure there is an electric copy on both our class webpage and Class Dojo page.

Homework will be set each Monday, to be handed in by the following Monday. Please do not bring any books back into school from home. You can send me a photograph of your homework for my records to my inbox and I shall ensure it is marked and perhaps printed/shared (depending on the work) for our wall of fame.

Hi everyone, I hope that you are all safe and well and that you've enjoyed the summer holidays. We are just about ready to go back to school and I am super excited to meet you all and start our learning journey together in Class 9.

We shall be reading the 'Hobbit' for our first class book. It would be lovely if you could get to know this story or look up what it is all about perhaps by reading the blurb...If you're unfamiliar with the story can you guess what it going to be about just from reading the blurb?

Have you been practising your times tables? TT Rockstars is always a good place to start! I have added some times tables for you to print off if you wish to help you get back into the swing of things. They don't need to be handed in when you come back- they are just for practising at home.

Enjoy your final week of the summer holidays and  stay safe. I am really looking forward to seeing you all on Tuesday 1st September.
