School Council

Our School Council gives the children the opportunity to make their voice heard at school. If you have any suggestions, please let our school councillors know so they can help to make the school a better place for everybody.

Sport Relief 2018

We have raised a huge £260 for Sport Relief this year. Thank you to everyone for bringing in your £1 to help us raise money. We are so glad to hear that you all enjoyed the activities today in the playground!

Magical Reindeer Dust

Thank you to everyone who bought some magical reindeer dust at the Christmas Fayre. We worked really hard to make them for you and we are really happy that you all bought some. The money will help the Friends of Burton Road buy more things for us to use in school.

Christmas Fayre Preparation!

We are busy preparing lots of reindeer food ready to sell at the Christmas Fayre which is on Wednesday 6th December, after school. We will be selling it in the hall for 50p each. Please come and buy some! You wouldn't want to miss out on your presents being delivered by Santa Clause!

The School Council

It has once been said,

That right before you go to bed,

You should sprinkle magic reindeer food,

To quickly bring Santa and his brood.

For many years the legend has been told,

To boys and girls, both young and old,

Sprinkle the food throughout your yard,

Then finding your house won’t be so hard!

The reindeer can smell the food for 100 miles,

Just do not leave it in big piles,

After you do this you must go to sleep fast,

So Santa and his reindeer will not pass!

Poppy Appeal Update

Thank you so much to everyone who has bought a poppy, wristband or key ring from us over the past few weeks. We are delighted to say that we have raised £372.95 this year for the Poppy Appeal which is a massive achievement. We will continue to support the Royal British Legion with their fund raising each year.
