At Burton Road we believe that every child should have the opportunity to become an independent, confident and capable writer.

We make sure that the challenging process of learning to write is embraced and enjoyed by all children; complete with equal access to inspiring resources and texts, which teachers are excited to use.

Burton Road allows pupils of all abilities to engage with complex literacy skills; developing competence earlier, faster and with greater enthusiasm.
