Staying Safe over Half Term

Staying safe over half term

With a well deserved break from school next week, we want everyone to be able to have fun and enjoy the half term holidays safely. Please see below the message from the Local Authority:

“While you’re planning your half term activities please be mindful of the current guidelines in place to keep yourself and your families safe. When you’re in an outdoor public area, keep your distance from other households and remember to regularly wash your hands especially if you’re using outdoor play areas."

As part of the guidance in place, household mixing isn’t allowed and this includes the children your child goes to school with, please only use your childcare bubbles during this time to stop further transmission of the virus. There are still plenty of activities that are safe for families over this break, keep your eye out on the Barnsley Council social media pages for the Healthy Holidays programme and this month's ‘Febru-welly’ activity which might spark some inspiration.
